Accessibility & Nondiscrimination
Nondiscrimination notice
BridgePath Counseling follows applicable federal civil rights laws, including Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and Washington State law. I do not discriminate against, exclude or treat people differently because of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency and primary language), age, disability or sex (including pregnancy). Under Washington State law, I also do not discriminate because of sexual orientation, gender identity, creed or religion, or honorably discharged veteran or military status.
Free help and other formats
I provide the following free of charge and in a timely way:
- For people with disabilities: reasonable changes to my policies and practices, and aids and services so we can communicate well, such as qualified sign language interpreters and written information in other formats (large print, audio or accessible electronic files).
- For people whose first language is not English: language help, such as qualified interpreters and information written in other languages.
To ask for any of these, contact me in whatever way works for you. I'll work with you to set it up before your appointment.

Website accessibility
I want this website to work for everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control. I am working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What is in place
- Pages are built to work with a keyboard and a screen reader, and images have text descriptions.
- The site follows your device's light or dark setting and adjusts to phones and larger text.
- Animations are kept to a minimum.
Known limits, and other ways in
- Voicemail number. The number is shown as a picture to protect it from automated spam calls, so a screen reader cannot read it aloud. Email me and I'll send it to you, or use the email button on any page.
- Online finger labyrinth. It is traced with a finger or mouse. If that doesn't work for you, ask me for a printable version or a guided audio alternative.
- Forms and documents. If any form or document is hard to use, I can send it in another format or go through it with you.
If something on this site gets in your way, please tell me what page you were on and what happened. I'll get you the information another way and fix the problem.
